Screen Recording Option

Postby slowdive » Sat Dec 19, 2015 5:19 pm

Here is another option that I am exploring as it was one of the suggestions from Google's YT Gaming streaming encoder list (get ready for some Let's Plays and Toolset Tutorials :D Maybe a monthly video event web meeting to talk the latest additions or watch me play live  ):

(It is an Open Source project)

I downloaded and installed the OBS 0.657 (not the multiplatform, although that should be okay I'm sure)

After installing, I used the following settings:

I had to turn down the mic on the speaker output signal or else I would get an echo effect from the slight delay

Both ideas sound excellent to me :D .

Many thanks for taking the time to document the settings so thoroughly, must go on an expedtition through a heapload of boxes to find my old mic again (or get a new headset, which I planned anyway).
