Hi Zach, this release should fix the black square problem (new optimization made the engine only render visible tiles of layers 0 and 1 which is a bad idea if fog of war is somewhat transparent -> this particular optimization will only kick in with rather opaque/solid fog of war now).
I could not replicate the slow down on movement though. It would be great if you could send me a version of your current module with a saved situation where you experience this slow down, please.
