Debugging in ARC welder just might be beyond my skill set as a toolkit user.
I guess if I run into serious crashes again I'll load the game back onto my device and let it send a crash report.
In the present case, I just reviewed the trigger settings and found I was transitioning the player to an unwalkable square ... not acutally sure why that would cause a crash either but once I fixed my transition the crash went away.
